The project generally consists of nitrogen management process improvements and complementary Renewal and Replacement (R/R) improvements at the Millard H. Robbins, Jr. Regional Water Reclamation Plant (RWRP). Major work includes replacement of eight (8) screw pumps at Primary Effluent Lift Stations (PELS) 55/1 and 55/2; upgrade of two (2) RAS pumps and increased pumping capacity at RAS Pump Station 9/1 ; and cyclone/settleability improvements at Selector Basins 56/1- 56/3 and 56/4-56/7; replacement of secondary clarifier mechanisms for Secondary Clarifiers 6/5 and 6/6; replacement of electrical equipment in Load Center No. 1 and Load Center No. 8; replacement of a primary sludge pump in Primary Sludge Pump Staton 54/2; and other R/R improvements associated with the Primary Effluent Pump Stations, Aeration Basins, Secondary Clarifiers, Return Activated Sludge Pump Stations, Secondary Effluent Collection Box, Primary Sludge Pump Stations, Selector Basins and associated pipe galleries, Biofoam Pump Station, Secondary Clarifier Dewatering Pump Station, Aeration Basin Dewatering Pump Station Valve Vault, Mixed Liquor Splitter Box, Load Center No. 1 , Load Center No. 8, Blower Building, and miscellaneous site piping and site electrical items Nitrogen management process improvements and Renewal and Replacement (R/R) improvements including screw pump replacement, RAS pump upgrades, cyclone/settleability improvements, secondary clarifier mechanism replacement, electrical equipment replacement, primary sludge pump replacement, and associated piping and electrical work.
