Description of the Work 1. Modernize elevator No. C1, located in Block C of College Montmorency in Laval, in accordance with the requirements of these specifications. Note that the machine room will be completely renovated by a third party (see preliminary layout drawings for reference). 2. Replace the elevator's cylinder/piston assembly and perform all work specified in the elevator pit. 3. Extend the elevator car toward the landing. To do so, completely replace the car frame and platform to achieve a C3 load class. 4. Supply and install a complete IP-based emergency telephone system, including one (1) main communication station at the building's central control station (COS), and connect the devices described in this bid to it. 5. Perform certain drilling, spackling, and painting work. 6. Supply and install all wiring and cabling required to complete the work described in these specifications. 7. Perform all device connections, programming, and coordination with other parties involved in the operation of the emergency communication system and card readers. 8. Remove and dismantle all equipment not included in the elevator modernization project. 9. Perform all related work specified herein. 10. The work may be performed while the building is occupied. Special attention must therefore be paid to noise levels and the cleanliness of the premises throughout the project. 11. Perform maintenance on the equipment in accordance with the requirements included in these specifications. 12. Provide all labor required for the complete completion of the work in accordance with the project schedule. 13.
