Project Description The Village of Bronxville seeks bids for the design, engineering, fabrication, delivery, and complete installation of one permanent free-standing A-frame canopy at Maltby Park along Paxton Avenue. The canopy is intended to provide a shaded gathering and picnic area and shall be designed as a traditional, old-fashioned civic/garden awning with a refined, pavilion-like character. The Village's aesthetic intent is a green-and-white composition with a Forest Green fabric canopy, white-painted exposed frame and posts, and a broad scalloped valance finished with white braided trim. Contemporary commercial shade structures, taut membrane sails, cantilever umbrellas, plain straight-edge canopies, and other industrial or utilitarian-looking systems will not satisfy the design intent. The Work shall be provided as a complete turnkey installation.
