Site work and paving for a road / highway in Middletown, California. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway.

The project proposes safety improvements on State Route 29 in Lake County north of Middletown between Post Miles 7.40 and 8.90. Work includes widening the roadbed to create a soft median with centerline rumble strips, widening outside shoulders from 4 feet to 6 feet, performing cut-and-fill operations, constructing new pavement structural sections in widened areas, and applying a final Rubberized Hot Mix Asphalt overlay. The project is being undertaken by the California Department of Transportation to improve roadway safety.
