The City of Sierra Vista will accept competitive bids from qualified contractors for Fire Pump Replacement at Animal Control Center. The scope of work involves all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, permits, and incidentals necessary to furnish and install a complete, new diesel engine-driven centrifugal fire pump system.. All questions submitted and answers provided shall be electronically distributed to bidders following this solicitation on the City's e-Procurement Portal. Question Response Deadline: September 18, 2026, 5:00pm Any changes to the bid documents will be distributed to all bidders in the form of an Addendum. Verbal discussions or comments will not change the official bid docs unless provided in a written Addendum. Addenda shall be posted on the City's e-Procurement Portal. Addenda notifications will be emailed to all persons on record as following this IFB. Failure of any bidder to receive any such addenda or interpretation shall not relieve such bidder from any obligation under their bid as submitted. All addenda so issued shall become part of the contract documents. The contract(s) shall be awarded to the lowest responsive/responsible bidder. Furnish and install a complete diesel engine-driven centrifugal fire pump assembly of equivalent specification or better as the existing fire pump , including all components required for a fully operational system. Provide and install a new listed fire pump controller compatible with the diesel engine and pump. Provide and install new batteries, battery racks, battery chargers, battery cables, and all associated electrical components required for automatic and manual operation. Furnish and install all engine mounted accessories, gauges, instrumentation, relief valves, cooling components, exhaust system components, flexible connectors, guards, and couplings required by the manufacturer. Install new fuel supply and return piping from the new diesel engine to the existing fuel storage tank, including all fittings, valves, flexible connections, supports, and accessories required for complete installation. Reconnect or replace, as necessary, all suction, discharge, drain, relief sensing, and test piping required for proper operation. Connect all electrical power, alarm, supervisory, and monitoring circuits to the existing fire alarm/building monitoring system as required. Perform all alignment, anchoring, grouting, and vibration isolation in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations. Provide all wiring, conduit, fittings, and terminations necessary for a complete and operational installation. Perform startup, commissioning, flow testing, acceptance testing, and operational testing in accordance with NFPA 20, NFPA 25, and all applicable local codes. Coordinate all required inspections with the authority having jurisdiction. Provide operation and maintenance manuals, record drawings, startup reports, warranties, and owner training. Remove all debris and restore the work area to its original condition upon completion.
