Structural repairs and the replacement of the existing hydronic mechanical system. All bid specification and drawings questions are due September 08, 2026 at 12:00 P.M. and must be submitted through the District Oracle System, enabling the Project Representative to provide a wellresearched answer to all bidding parties and issue a response amendment through Oracle System/Attachments. This project consists of the comprehensive renovation and modernization of the existing 139,771 SF Hadley Middle School campus located at 1101 N. Dougherty Street, Wichita, Kansas, for occupancy by Horace Mann Traditional Magnet School serving PreKindergarten through 8th Grade students. The work includes extensive mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and architectural improvements intended to modernize aging building systems, improve educational functionality, enhance accessibility, and reconfigure spaces to support elementary and middle school instruction within the existing facility footprint. The project includes replacement and installation of major HVAC equipment, upgrades to chilled water, heating water, ventilation, controls, electrical distribution and associated infrastructure, plumbing system modifications, restroom improvements, science classroom conversions, classroom reconfigurations, accessibility upgrades, finish renovations, ceiling and lighting modifications, and selective structural improvements. Additional work includes kitchen and serving area modifications, administrative area improvements, technology and security coordination, code compliance upgrades, tunnel repairs, rooftop modifications, site improvements associated with mechanical equipment replacement, and restoration of all disturbed finishes and surfaces.
