Demolition and site work for a development in Grand Island, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the demolition of a development; and for site work for a development.
Structure demolition and removal of a farmstead. The contractor will be responsible for removing all structures and site clean-up identified on Sheet 3. The Quonset, 2-car garage , milking barn, green equipment shed and green machine shop will NOT be demolished or removed from site and will remain intact on the tract for future use. All other structures will be demolished and relocated to an approved landfill or salvaged. All debris, including contents of buildings, must be removed from the site for recycling or disposal in an approved facility. Asbestos has been removed. See Visual Clearance Report. Landfill fees will be reimbursed by the owner with submission of appropriate documentation of fees paid by the contractor. All metal debris will be separated and removed from the site for recycling purposes by the contractor. All proceeds from the sale of metal to a salvage dealer will be paid to the Platte River Recovery Implementation Foundation. Select trees will be cleared and burned and buried on site tree pile location in west feed yard. Any tree that is salvageable for lumber, firewood or otherwise becomes property of contractor. All concrete debris will be consolidated and stockpiled in a yet to be determined location but within the demolition area for future use. Care must be taken to remove all items from the site; nothing may be buried and left on site. After site clean-up, the site will be graded, disked, or otherwise cleaned such that the site can be re-seeded. Seeding is NOT the responsibility of the contractor. The contractor is responsible for obtaining appropriate permits and calling the “Diggers Hotline” number to verify any conflicting utilities prior to beginning any work.
