The successful respondent (“Contractor”) will be required to supply, install, and finish concrete pads/bases at various locations throughout Wabamun, Alberta. The Contractor will also construct a concrete swale approximately 75 metres in length at Wabamun Waterfront Park. The scope of work includes all labour, materials, equipment, site preparation, concrete placement, finishing, and site restoration necessary to complete the project. These concrete foundations will support the installation of community outdoor amenities, including shade structures/gazebos, park benches, picnic tables, bike racks, and trash receptacles. The Scope of Work shall include but is not limited to the following: Site Preparation Site review and verification of dimensions, grades, and elevations Excavate, remove, and dispose of unsuitable soils or materials Prepare and compact subgrade Supply and install appropriate granular base materials Ensure all work complies with applicable Alberta Building Code requirements and industry standards Concrete Supply & Install Supply and place concrete suitable for exterior municipal applications Provide reinforced concrete where required based on intended use Install and finish concrete pads to required dimensions and specifications Provide broom finish or other specified finish suitable for pedestrian use Ensure proper slopes for drainage where applicable Complete saw cuts/control joints as required Apply curing methods to achieve a durable finished product Protect concrete from damage until fully cured Site Restoration Restore disturbed areas surrounding concrete installations Remove excess materials, debris, and construction waste Leave all sites clean and ready for use Repair disturbed landscaping or adjacent areas resulting from construction activities Obtain approval and final inspection by the County Representative Amenity Bases Concrete pads/bases may be required for the following applications: Shade structures/gazebos Park benches Picnic tables Bike racks Trash receptacles Other outdoor park amenities as identified by the County Concrete structures may include but are not limited to: One (1) 40' x 30' = 1,200sqft Fourteen (14) 7’ x 3.5’ pad for park benches 75 metre in length Swale Five (5) 4’ x 3’ ground cut out and level with gravel pour Documents can be obtained from https://parklandcounty.bonfirehub.ca/opportunities/110747
