Roof replacement for the Old CSS roofs at Lock and Dam 14. QUESTIONS: Please submit to joseph.e.porter@usace.army.mil no later than 4 September 2026 at 1:00 PM Roof #1 6.1 Task 1 - Remove navigation horns and fixed ladder from roof top. 6.2 Task 2 - Cut and remove the existing roofing, insulation and coping down to concrete decking and stone cap. 6.3 Task 3 - Remove and replace existing scupper, matching the specifications of what is in place. 6.4 Task 4 - Provide and install vapor barrier on decking with permeance not exceeding 0.1 perms. Overlapping seams six inches 6.5 Task 5 - Provide and install tapered insulation not less than two layers at every location, with joints staggered a minimum of 12 inches between layers. Provide a flat base layer and factorytapered insulation as required to produce a finished roof slope of not less than 1/4 inch per foot toward the primary scupper. Provide crickets and saddles as required to eliminate ponding. 6.6 Task 6 - Provide and install 1/2" polyiso deck cover board. 6.7 Task 7 - Provide and install 72mil PVC roof system, fully adhered. 6.8 Task 9 - Provide and install new 22g. metal coping cap at top of walls matching the shape and finish color to what is currently in place. Reinstall fixed ladder to roof. 6.9 Task 10 - Provide 20-year manufacturer's warranty on roof system, and a two- year contractors warranty on water tightness, defects, and failures. Roof#2 6.10 Task 1 - Remove roofing materials down to decking. 6.11 Task 2 - Inspect and replace all damaged/rotten wood as agreed with USACE POC. 6.12 Task 3 Provide and install ice dam and underlayment. 6.13 Task 4 - Provide and install drip edge around roof top edge. 6.14 Task 5 - Provide and install 24g. Kynar-finish standing seam metal roof system with edging. 6.15 Task 6 - Provide and install base flashing and counter flashing at brick wall/roof. 6.16 Task 7 - Provide a two-year contractors warranty on water tightness, defects, and failures.
