Site work and renovation of a municipal facility in South Bend, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
This Project includes: the removal and disposal of all existing single pane storm glazing, tapes and stops and cleaning of the existing head, jambs and sills of curtainwall framing; replacement of existing damaged exterior curtainwall glazing in selected areas with wet sealing on exterior and interior sides; removal of interior rubber/vinyl perimeter gasketing on curtainwall system and wet sealing of former gasket locations for fully sealed system; repair or replace damaged or missing jamb stops to match adjacent conditions; applying glazing film to interior face of original curtainwall glazing panels. An Alternative Bid No. 1 is requested to reinstall existing storm glazing panels with new double-sided glazing tape; include replacement of all damaged or incorrect sized storm panels.
