Expansion of surface water treatment facility and booster station improvements, including two new treatment trains, rapid mix, flocculation mixers, clarifier mechanisms, chemical feed equipment, filter rehabilitation, and SCADA system updates. Phase 1 of the East Range Water System resulted in the commissioning of a new raw water intake (Embarrass Pit), raw water supply pipeline and modular surface water treatment plant that employs the mechanics of rapid mixing, flocculation, filtration and disinfection in the City of Aurora . Construction and commissioning occurred in years 2024-2026. Phase II of the East Range Water System will consist of expanding the newly constructed facility to support the City of Hoyt Lake. Phase II consists of necessary improvements the existing ERWB Surface Water Treatment Plant Facility to meet additional demand . The proposed plant expansion consists of two additional treatment trains, support components, expanded raw water and high service pumping and improvements to the existing precast structure. Each treatment train will incorporate multi-stage treatment processes, including rapid mix, flocculation, filtration, and disinfection, before water is released as finished water. Once operational, each treatment train will be capable of discharging 333 gallons of finished water per minute. Bonds: 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond.
