Site work for a water / sewer project in Chalmette, Louisiana. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work of this project includes replacement of existing water lines in Chalmette, LA, along portions of Chalmette Ave. from St. Bernard Highway to Livingston Ave., Chalmette Ave cross streets that consist of 1M Street, 2M Street, 3^ Street, 4m Street, 5"1 Street, and 61h Street, Gibbs Drive from St. Bernard Highway to Livingston Ave., and Coffee Drive from St, Bernard Highway to Livingston Ave. The existing water lines along these streets are to be replaced with 4-inch and 8-inch water line, The existing water lines are to be capped and/or abandoned in-place per plan locations. The contract shall be constructed complete in place with all valves, hydrants, fittings, services and restoration of roadway, sidewalks, driveways, established lawns, and roadway drainage ditches to original conditions. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond acceptable to the Owner in the amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the total amount bid and payable without condition to the Owner as a guarantee that the bidder, if awarded the contract, will promptly execute a contract in accordance with all terms and conditions of the Contract Documents,
