Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Revelstoke, British Columbia. Conceptual plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The Summit Lake Overhead and Approaches Project is located on the Trans-Canada Highway (TCH) approximately thirteen (13) km West of Revelstoke, BC. The bridge was constructed in 1958 and spans 143 m over the Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) Rail and Eagle River at Landmark Kilometre Inventory (LKI) Segment 1812-57.40 The structure carries one (1) lane of traffic in each direction (west/east bound). The Consultant will undertake preliminary design with the option to continue through functional, detailed design, and engineering during construction at the sole discretion of the Province. The preliminary design period is approximately one (1) year, ending in Summer 2027.
