Construction Manager at Risk preconstruction and construction services for the Consolidated Security Screening Checkpoint Project. The Commission seeks a qualified CMAR to provide early design-phase support, constructability and phasing expertise, cost estimating , schedule development, trade-contractor procurement support, Guaranteed Maximum Price development, and complete construction management services for the Project. The CMAR will initially serve in an agency-support role during preconstruction and, upon execution of an accepted GMP amendment or other authorized construction-phase instrument, will hold and administer the construction contract. The Project will consolidate the Airport's two existing security screening checkpoints into a single centralized checkpoint and will include related administrative, support, passengerprocessing, circulation, and building-system improvements. The current planning information anticipates approximately 113,000 square feet of new construction across two levels and a new mezzanine, together with approximately 103,000 square feet of renovation on the first and second floors. The Commission has also identified enabling projects that must be completed before or coordinated with the principal checkpoint construction, including relocation of concessionaire support spaces, Airport Operations, Communications/Dispatch , and Airport conference rooms to other locations within the terminal or Airport campus. The current estimated construction cost is approximately $215,000,000. The Project is anticipated to be funded through a combination of federal grants, state grants, special appropriations, Passenger Facility Charges, and Commission funds.
