Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Lexington, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the construction of a 67,000-square-foot transportation facility; and office development.
Construction of a new facility including 47,000 sf of aircraft maintenance, restoration, and overhaul (MRO) space, 20,000 sf of office and operational space, staff parking, and a materials receiving dock. The Airport seeks a Progressive Design-Build team that will partner with the Airport throughout planning, design, and construction to deliver a facility that advances the Airport's strategic vision and operational objectives. The Project Goals outlined below are intended to guide decision-making, foster collaboration, innovation, and establish the performance expectations for the successful delivery of the Project. Respondents should demonstrate how their approach, experience, and team structure will support achievement of these goals while maintaining a strong focus on quality, safety, schedule, budget, and stakeholder satisfaction. The facility and its design shall embody the Mission, Vision and the Core Values of the Airport. Ensure that the facility design incorporates the latest trends and best practices in delivery of similar projects. Ensure that the facility and its design promote efficiency and operational well-being through customer-centered design. Complement the adjacent facilities on the airport's west side campus , adhering to the established architectural guidelines for the campus. oManage integration between new and existing conditions of the site. oManage costs and complete the Project within budget and schedule. oConduct safe construction of the Project, including ensuring worker safety.
