Description

Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Hickory, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The Project Generally Consists OF the furnishing of all materials, labor and equipment for the construction of a 1.133 mi long sidewalk project along both sides of SR 1453 (12th Ave NE/Springs Rd NE) between SR 1401 (16th St NE/Sandy Ridge Rd) and McDonald Parkway NE and all associated work including, but not limited to, grading, drainage, paving, and signals. All Bidders must be prequalified by NCDOT as a Prequalified Bidder or PO Prime for their specific discipline and must comply with the requirements of the State of North Carolina and be appropriately licensed as a Contractor as provided in General Statutes Chapter 87. Before beginning work, subcontractors of all levels must be prequalified by the NCDOT to perform the specified work codes. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive informalities, or to reject nonconforming, non-responsive, or conditional bids. The Owner reserves the right to award a contract to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder or bidders, taking into consideration quality, performance, and time.
