Demolition, site work and renovation of a fitness / recreation center in Rocanville, Saskatchewan. Completed plans call for the demolition of a fitness / recreation center; and for the renovation of a 4,700-square-foot fitness / recreation center.
The Nobel Construction Arena located at 406 Ellice Street Rocanville Saskatchewan is a pre-engineered steel building that was moved to site and repurposed in 2000. The Arena tin roof is at end of life and needs replacement and has an area of approximately 26,000 sq ft. The Rink Refurbishment Committee has removed some roofing panels to inspect the condition of the insulation as well as the vapour barrier. During this inspection the roofing tin and insulation was deemed not salvageable. In addition, there were no signs of a vapour barrier being installed. In the past some external roof repairs were made with a topcoat of spray foam and a urethane coating. Phase 1 is the Arena roof. If funding is available, The Town of Rocanville would proceed with Phase 2 but not guaranteed. Phase 1 to be completed prior to September 30, 2027. Phase 2 to be completed when funding available.
