Description

Renovation of a stadium in Kelowna, British Columbia. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a stadium.

Modernize the Apple Bowl, with the goal of expanding year-round community access and becoming the future home of a Canadian Premier League (CPL) club by 2028. Improvements may include: improvements include: a new east grandstand with approximately 3,000 additional seats for a total of 5,000 seats; washrooms, locker rooms, concessions and storage; a new scoreboard; VIP suites and broadcast-ready functional areas; artificial turf field conversion; and entrance plaza integration with Parkinson Recreation Centre site development. TIMELINE: Project is preliminary. The City of Kelowna is exploring plans to modernize the Apple Bowl and will work with community sport and recreation partners to inform the final design, with opportunities for the public to provide input as planning advances. All other timelines and contacts are yet to be determined. Further update in early 2027.
