Removal and replacement of six window sections (twelve awning-style windows), including removal/disposal of existing glass, assemblies, framing, and sealants, and installation of new aluminum fixed-frame stationary window assemblies including flashing and associated materials. Work shall include removal and disposal of existing glass, window assemblies, framing, anchors, sealants, and associated materials necessary to prepare openings for installation of new aluminum fixed-frame stationary window assemblies, New window assemblies shall consist of two (2) separate fixed window units per section , including new aluminum framing, glazing, anchors, sealants, flashing, and associated materials required for a complete and weather-tight installation. Approximate existing window opening dimensions are 93" x 34"; however, a pre-proposal site visit is highly recommended, with the presence of a CE Project Planner, for all contractors submitting proposals to identify all material , dimensions, specifications, and work requirements. Any CMU requiring repair and/or replacement to ensure proper installation of the new windows shall be addressed by the Contractor.
