Description: The project consists of the removal and replacement of approximately 3,800 linear feet of existing white vinyl fence along the east side of the I-71 corridor from State Route 665 to Hoover Road, as identified on the attached project map. Summary of Work Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting o A mandatory pre- bid meeting will be held at Eagle Pavilion, Fryer Park, 3670 Discovery Dr. , Grove City, OH 43123, on Tuesday, September 8 , 2026, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. o The meeting will include a review of project locations, site conditions, access and questions from potential bidders. Removal o Safely remove and dispose of the existing white fence within the limits identified on the attached project map. o All removed fence materials and associated debris shall become the responsibility of the Contractor and shall be properly disposed of off-site. Fence Material o WHITE - 4-rail horse vinyl fence o 5"x5"x8' posts and caps o o 1.5"x5.5"x16' NBE rails 8.5" spacing between rails Installation . The replacement fence shall generally follow the existing fence alignment unless otherwise directed by the City or required by ODOT. o Install new fence in accordance with the following requirements: 12" diameter post hole 42" minimum hole depth Tamped bottom 6" of #57 stone o O 36" post bury Each post shall have one ( 1 ) 1 " diameter hole cored on opposite sides of the post, 12" from the bottom of post, for a total of two (2) holes per post. Concrete shall be placed on the outside of posts to grade. Protect posts/rails from concrete splashes, dirt etc.Project Area o Approximately 3,800 linear feet. Work limits are identified on the attached map. The contractor is responsible for utility locating/OUPS compliance and coordinating conflicts before excavation.
