Asbestos abatement and renovation of an educational facility in Springfield, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and for asbestos abatement for a educational facility.
Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. RFI's must be submitted to stccbidclerk@stcc.edu by: Wednesday. September 9, 2026 by 12 noon. The Asbestos Abatement Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, services, training, insurance and equipment necessary to complete the removal of asbestos containing and asbestos-contaminated materials as indicated below. The Asbestos Abatement Contractor shall follow all Federal, State and local ordinances, regulations, rules pertaining to asbestos, including abatement, storage, transportation and disposal. More specifications/notes in Attachment A. Removal of all VCT floor tiles throughout rooms 202, 204, and 205 in the upper level of the Bldg 25 automotive garage, approximately 1160sq ft. Coordination of the post abatement inspection to be scheduled with O'Reilly Talbot & Okun
