Removal and replacement of existing furnace in the main office building, with options for removal and replacement of mini-split air conditioning systems. Question Deadline 09/11/2026 at 2:00 PM ET Questions shall be submitted via email to erin.riffey@usda.gov The United State Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS), Pasture Systems & Watershed Management Research Unit (PSWMRU) field site located at 31 Watershed Rd. , Klingerstown, Pennsylvania 17941 (i.e. the "Location") requires removal and replacement of the existing furnace in the main office building. Provide a separate quote for the Base Quote and Option. Award will be made based on general site conditions at time of installation. Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, transport and other items or services to: 1. BASE QUOTE: Disconnect, remove and properly dispose of existing 125,000 BTU oil fired furnace. Furnish, install , connect and start up new 125,000 BTU propane fired furnace. Ensure fuel oil supply is maintained to the Fabrication Shop during all construction activities (The current tank(s) provide fuel to the Fabrication Shop and the Office Building). 2. OPTION 1 : Furnish and install one (1 ) mini-split air conditioning unit system on the east side of the Office Building to serve the 1st floor space. 3. OPTION 2 : Furnish and install one (1) mini-split air conditioning unit system on the west side of the Office Building to serve the 2nd floor space. 4. OPTION 3: Furnish and install one (1) mini-split air conditioning unit system on the west side of the Office Building to serve the Technician's Workshop space.
