Replacement of the existing generator system at Union Station. Question Deadline 09/25/2026 All questions and requests for clarifications or interpretations of the meaning of the Contract Documents shall be in writing, addressed to City Hall-Purchasing Division, 455 Main St, room 201, Worcester, MA 01608, email: Purchasing@worcesterma.gov and to be given consideration must be received at least five (5) days prior to the date fixed for opening of bids. The project scope generally consists of the renovation of portions of Union Station to perform maintenance and upkeep of finishes and systems. The main scope of work includes: 1. Replacement of a rooftop-mounted emergency generator and associated modifications to the structural steel dunnage to suit the footprint of the new generator. Electrical provisions for a temporary generator to be connected at grade, in the event the primary generator fails. 2. Modifications to existing rooftop structural steel dunnage, to support the new generator. 3. All cutting, patching, firestopping and related work required for the execution of the primary scope of work. 4. All other work as indicated and specified.
