Renovation of a library in Worcester, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
The scope of the work under this Division, without limiting the generality thereof, consists of furnishing all labor, material, equipment, scaffolding, power, tools and rigging, except as otherwise specified, and performing all work as necessary to fully complete the HVAC work indicated. Note that the Drawings and the Specifications are complementary. Provide work drawn, but not specified, and work specified, but not drawn, as if explicitly indicated in both ways. This program contains minimum participation goals of ten (10) percent by MBE's and fifteen (15) percent by WBE's calculated as a percentage of the total bid price. As part of the obligation of remedial action under the foregoing section, the Contractor shall maintain goals on this project no less than 38 percent (38%) people of color employee and 10 percent ( 10%) women employee Bid deposit for the general bid in the amount of five (5) percent of the value of the bid or a bid bond.
