Replacement of membrane feed pumps including associated process piping, HVAC, electrical, and automation modifications.. Work for this project at the OWNER's 1.44 MGD water treatment plant, located at 101 Jungle Hut Road, Palm Coast, FL, will replace four (4) existing single speed horizontal RO feed pumps with four (4) new vertical in-line RO feed pumps provided with speed control from four (4) new variable frequency drives (VFDs) installed in the existing electric room and associated wiring, piping, instrumentation, and valve modifications to relocate the pump and to install new pump bypass piping and valves. The project will also include the addition of a heated and cooled 10-foot by 14 foot in-plant modular office system to be installed as an operations control room within the existing administration building's maintenance room. The project will also include upgrades to the existing electrical room to accommodate the four (4) new VFDs; including modifications to the Motor Control Center (MCC-1 ), conduit and wiring from the pump motors and VFDs, replacement of the electric room's air conditioning system and ductwork, installation of housekeeping pads for the new VFDs, and electrical supply for the new operator control room. In addition, the four (4) existing RO process room ventilation fans will be replaced.
