Scope of Work The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation , permits, commissioning, startup services, and training necessary to complete the greenhouse modernization project. Work shall include, but not be limited to, the following activities: Task 1. Removal of Existing Equipment The contractor shall: o o o Remove existing greenhouse lighting fixtures and associated mounting hardware. Remove existing environmental control hardware identified for replacement. Remove existing controller and associated components necessary to support installation of the new control system. Place removed equipment in owner-designated storage locations or disposal containers as directed by CSHL personnel. Task 2. LED Lighting System Installation The contractor shall furnish and install: o Twenty-four (24) commercial greenhouse LED grow lights. New lighting support grid and mounting infrastructure. Electrical conduit and receptacles required to support operation of the new lighting system. Associated cabling and electrical connections. Please include the solicitation name and number as the subject line of the email The installed lighting system shall provide uniform supplemental lighting suitable for greenhouse research operations and shall be fully integrated into the environmental control platform. Task 3. Environmental Control System Upgrade The contractor shall furnish and install a Wadsworth Seed 24 greenhouse environmental control system or equivalent approved system capable of: o o o Environmental monitoring and control. Remote access and management. Temperature monitoring. Humidity monitoring. Light monitoring. Integration with greenhouse ventilation systems. o o Integration with supplemental lighting controls. Data collection and system management functions. The control system shall include all required controller hardware, software licenses, contactor panels, sensors, weather station components, communication hardware, and associated infrastructure necessary for a complete operational installation. Task 4. Weather Station and Sensor Upgrades The contractor shall: o Replace existing weather station components required for compatibility with the upgraded control system. Install environmental sensors necessary for operation of the Seed 24 platform. Integrate all sensors into the greenhouse control network. o Verify functionality and calibration of installed monitoring equipment.
