New construction of an educational facility in Norton, Virginia. Completed plans call for the construction of a 3,200-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility.
Wise County Public Schools (WCPS) is soliciting proposals from qualified design/build vendors for the construction of a new post-steel building on the campus of Central High School. The purpose of this project is to provide a functional, durable structure that meets the needs of the school. The project consists of the construction of a 40 ' x 80 ' x 16' post-steel building with the following requirements: Concrete Slab: 4-inch, 4000 psi concrete slab with reinforcing wire-slick trowel finish. Building Envelope: Seamless gutters with downspouts. 3 inches of insulation in both roof and walls; vinyl backed. Doors: Two (2) 10' x 8' garage doors, insulated, commercial, overhead type. Two (2) 3 ' x 6'8" HD walkdoors with locksets, insulated - all steel frame and door. Site Work: All site preparation and stone base to be included.
