This is the first phase (Phase One) of a two-phase process: the first phase will evaluate the qualifications of all interested Respondents; the second phase (Phase Two) will invite the qualified Respondents to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings which will be accessible through SAP Ariba. The qualification list will expire upon award of a contract in Phase Two and the prequalification list will not be used in any other solicitation. Public Works and Government Services Canada, on behalf of Corrections Canada has a requirement for providing new 25kV power and telecom ducts in Matsqui Complex located at 33344 King Road, Abbotsford, BC. Work under this contract includes, but is not limited to: Provide new 25KV power and telecom ducts under King Road between the existing BC Hydro 25KV power pole and new 25KV site entry vault. Provide civil work including roadways, grading, curbs, security fencing and access gate for a new 25kV BC Hydro meter kiosk. Provide duct bank, pull strings, bonding to form a complete and dedicated new 25kV underground network. Provide outdoor 25KV metering kiosk, switchgear, protection, and all associated cabling and terminations. Provide outdoor transformer for TSFM building. Provide ground penetrating radar (GPR) survey scanning along new civil and duct bank routes Provide horizontal directional drilling (HDD) under existing utilities and road crossings on-site to maintain existing 24/7 services and road access. Provide separate telecom/controls cables, ducts, pull boxes, and civil infrastructure to form a complete and dedicated telecom underground network. Provide new grounding grids and bonding for pad mounted equipment and security fencing. Test and commission the new 25kV service to the outdoor switchgear. Coordinate all electrical and civil installation, testing, and commissioning for BC Hydro energization. Work to be completed within 36 weeks from contract award.
