The Commonwealth of Massachusetts, University of Massachusetts Boston, will receive sealed bids for the UMass Boston McCormack Level 3 Lab Renovation Project. This project consists of renovations to two existing laboratory spaces on the third floor of McCormack Hall A 5% bid deposit that is no less than of the bid amount must accompany all bids. The bid deposit may be in the form of a certified, treasurers or cashier check; or bid bond from a licensed surety. (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing) The University reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any and all bids if it were in the public interest to do so. The Project consists of but not limited to: Renovations to two existing laboratory spaces on the third floor of McCormack Hall . Scope of work totals approximately 1,550 SF. Renovations include but are not limited to minor interior demolition, new drywall partitions, architectural finishes, ceilings, electrical , plumbing, HVAC, fire protection, and Fire Suppression. There is also some Thermal and Moisture protection associated with the new rooftop HVAC units.
