Demolition, site work and renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Minburn, Iowa. Completed plans call for the demolition of a playground / park / athletic field; and for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
The Dallas County Conservation Board (DCCB) is soliciting quotes from qualified contractors to construct an accessible ramp to the existing observation deck at Voas Nature Area. The project generally includes selective demolition, concrete foundations and landing, pressure-treated wood framing and decking, handrails and guardrails, connection to the existing deck, minor repairs required for the tie-in, and project cleanup. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, safety controls, and incidentals necessary to complete the work in accordance with the attached construction plans prepared by MA Architecture and KPFF, this RFQ, and any written addenda. The contractor shall protect existing trees, signs, structures, paths, and the gravel driveway; maintain a safe and orderly work area; and remove construction debris and excess materials upon completion.
