Roof replacement for the Records Storage Facility. Color shall match Sherwin Williams SW6965 - Hyper Blue. G. At all through-wall scuppers, cut openings to 10 inches wide by 6 inches high . On all over-flow scuppers, lower the scupper base to 1-1/2 above the roof surface. Conductor heads shall be 14 inches by 14 inches and 12 inches in depth, shaped to match existing configuration. Downspouts shall be 6 inches by 6 inches. Scuppers shall be fabricated from 0.050 mil finish aluminum. H. Fabricate and install pipe support to match size and height of existing pipe supports. Metal cap flashing shall be 0.050 mil finish for new and existing curb supports. New curbs shall be fabricated from pressure treated wood and secured to the concrete deck with 2 inches by 2-inch angle iron and secured with screw fasteners spaced at 6 inches on center. Install new metal flashing under the access door threshold, install sealant under existing metal threshold and secure with screw fasteners. J. Clean, prime and paint existing standpipe with two coats Sherwin Williams Duration exterior enamel paint. Color to be bright red. K. Install new 0.050 mil finish aluminum coping cap with continuous cleat along the outside parapet walls. Install 0.050 mil finish aluminum through-wall scuppers, conductor heads, equipment support caps, surface mounted counter-flashing and down spouts. Install 0.050 mil finish aluminum perimeter edge metal with cleat and through edge metal scupper on the penthouse roof area. L. Secure counterflashing with screw fasteners spaced at 6 inches on center. Place specified sealant along top receiver and tool as required. The perimeter edge metal on the penthouse shall be a two-piece cleated metal with two stiffeners as per SMACNA requirements. Install concrete water diverter, splash blocks under all downspouts. The splash block on the roof membrane from the upper penthouse roof shall be installed backwards. Install an additional ply sheet under the concrete splash block and out onto the roof a minimum of 12 inches beyond the edge of the splash block.Install new crickets (sloped 1/2 -inch per foot) at the high side of all roof curbs and between through-wall scuppers and roof drains as indicated on the Roof Plan . All joints shall be staggered. O. Re-fasten existing wood nailers with stainless steel screw fasteners installed at 4 inches on center in the corner areas and 6 inches on center in the perimeter areas. Replace any deteriorated wood nailers with pressure treated lumber of the same size. P. Sealant - One-part polyether meeting ASTM C920, Type S as manufactured by ChemLink, ProSeal or approved equal.
