Bids will be received until 12:00 p.m. , local time October 9, 2026 and immediately after the deadline the bids will be opened and publicly read aloud in Meeting Room 2AB at the Main Library located at 60 South High Street, Akron, Ohio 44326 Roof removal and installation of KEE IRMA roof system on low sloped roofs,, removal and replacement of sheet metal components, masonry restoration, breathable coating application, door and door frame removal and replacement, drain cleaning, sealant replacement, painting, deck replacement, removal of cooling tower, cooling tower support removal, davit(tie-backs) removal, skylight removal and replacement, monumental skylight restoration, lightning protection removal and replacement, removal of excess pipes from penthouse located in the northeast quadrant of the penthouse, HVAC and Electrical component removal and replacement, etc. The SW ground staging and roof access point, as shown on drawing G101 will require a personnel and materials construction elevator to be erected and remain in place through the final audit of all workmanship. Engineering for the erection of the construction elevator is required by an State of Ohio Professional Engineer to be engaged and paid for in the base bid amount. The staging areas on drawing G-101 need to be fenced in and any trees removed will need roots removed and new 10' tall trees planted at the end of the project of the same species.
