The Project consists of constructing a gravity sanitary sewer reroute at the Katherine Plant, generally as follows: Approximately 138 linear feet of 8-inch SDR-35 PVC gravity sewer main (Line A) from existing Manhole "A" at Station 0+00 to existing Manhole "B" at Station 1 +41.84 , laid on a constant 1.77% slope (invert 487.75 to 485.24), including trench excavation, Class I bedding, backfill and compaction; Connection to existing Manhole "A" (STA 0 + 00): rebuild bench and invert, and plug the abandoned existing Line B with non-shrink grout; Connection to existing Manhole "B" (STA 1 +41.84): core/boot the new Line A into the existing structure and rebuild the invert; Sewer bypass / flow control during tie-ins; erosion and sediment control; and all required testing, all as shown on the Plans and as specified in the Contract Documents. Depths of cover range from approximately 9 to 11 feet; PVC SDR-35 is the specified material for this depth range per CWR Technical Specifications Section 3- A. Construction of a gravity sanitary sewer reroute including installation of 138 linear feet of 8-inch SDR-35 PVC gravity sewer main, manhole tie-ins, abandonment of existing line with non-shrink grout, sewer by-pass flow control, erosion and sediment control, and system testing. Payment for each item on the Bid Form is full compensation for all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to complete that item of Work as described below and as shown on the Plans. Items of Work not listed as separate pay items are incidental to the Contract and their cost shall be included in the related pay items. Item 1 Mobilization & Demobilization (LS) Lump-sum payment for moving personnel , equipment, and materials to and from the site; providing bonds (if any), insurance, and required submittals; and site cleanup and demobilization upon completion. Payment shall not exceed the percentage of the total bid customarily allowed by CWR for mobilization. Item 2 -- -8-inch SDR-35 PVC Gravity Sewer Main (LF) Per linear foot of 8-inch SDR-35 PVC gravity sewer main installed from existing Manhole "A" at Station 0+00 to existing Manhole "B" at Station 1 +41.84 on a constant 1.77% slope (invert 487.75 to 485.24). Includes trench excavation, Class I (#67 stone) bedding per Detail S- 16.0 , pipe, backfill, compaction, and detection tape. Depths of cover range from approximately 9 to 11 feet. Item 3 Connect to Existing Manhole "A" at STA 0+ 00 (EA) Each connection of the new Line A to existing Manhole "A," including rebuilding the bench and invert and plugging the abandoned existing Line B with non-shrink grout. Item 4 Connect to Existing Manhole "B" at STA 1 +41.84 (EA) Each connection of the new Line A to existing Manhole "B," including core/boot penetration of the existing structure and rebuilding the invert with non-shrink grout. Item 5- Sewer Bypass / Flow Control During Tie-ins (LS) Lump-sum payment for all temporary bypass pumping, plugging, and flow control necessary to maintain sewer service and keep the work area dry during the manhole tie-ins, including setup, operation, and removal. Item 6- Erosion & Sediment Control (LS) Lump-sum payment for furnishing, installing, maintaining, and removing all erosion and sediment control measures, including silt fence, stabilized construction entrance, and inlet protection, per the SWPPP (Sheets G3- G5) and Specification 2-C. Item 7 Testing (LS) Lump-sum payment for all required testing, including low-pressure air testing, 5% mandrel deflection testing, manhole vacuum testing, and pre-construction video, per Specification 2-G and General Note 6. Incidental Work (No Separate Pay Item) Record Drawings / As-Builts. The Contractor shall maintain accurate record drawings throughout construction and furnish as-builts to the Owner, including top-of-pipe elevations recorded at intervals not exceeding 50 feet (General Note 14). This Work is incidental to the Contract; no separate payment will be made. Site Restoration. Restoration of disturbed areas to pre-construction grade and condition is incidental to the related pay items. No seeding, grassing, or pavement removal and replacement is included in this Project.
