Site work and paving for a civil project in Broadus, Montana. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
MDT is proposing a rehabilitation project at the Broadus Rest Area. The scope of work may range from minor rehabilitation to reconstruction work at the site depending on the results of an evaluation of current conditions (structural, source water, septic, etc.) vs. future needs and potential resource constraints. The design of commercial truck inspection pit at an appropriate location near the adjacent MCS scale site will also be included in this project. Additionally, the selected consultant may develop plans and specifications to be utilized in advertising for a construction project at the Rest Area site. The Broadus Rest Area is in Powder River County, Montana on US 212 at approximate RP 81.0 This project is in the Glendive District If you have any questions, please contact me at (406) 444-7964, or by email at kwilliams@mt.gov.
