Renovation of an educational facility in Leonardtown, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Fire and Smoke Damper Replacement at Leonardtown High School This Project is generally comprised of, but not limited to, the following: Replacement of select smoke dampers throughout Leonardtown High School. Removal of specified dampers along with the dedicated smoke detector. Replacement with specified combination fire/smoke damper and associated duct smoke detector. o Access above acoustical ceiling tiles and hard (drywall) ceilings are necessary, along with restoration to those ceilings. All dampers shall be connected to existing power and fire alarm monitoring connections. Start Date anticipated Fall of 2026 during the heating season. Substantial Completion anticipated April of 2027 prior to cooling season. Work cannot take place in occupied areas. Evenings, Saturdays and Winter Break are available. The project is Locally funded therefore Maryland Prevailing Wage or Davis-Bacon Wage scales do not apply Question Deadline 09/15/2026 at 2:00 PM ET Any prospective contractor desiring an explanation or interpretation of this invitation to prequalify must request such in writing in advance to allow a reply to reach all prospective contractors before the submission deadline.
