Site work for a water / sewer project in Osgood, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project includes construction of a new 300,000 Gallon Water Storage Tank, new foundation, site grading, water main, and site work with other appurtenances . The project includes demolition of the existing 60,000 gallon elevated water storage tank. Question Deadline 10/01/2026 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. The Work will be substantially complete on or before June 1 , 2028, and completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions on or before June 29 , 2028. SELECTIVE DEMOLITION FOR ELECTRICAL - Extent of selective demolition for electrical work is indicated by the Drawings and as specified herein. Work includes de-energizing, disconnection, removal, salvage, protection, abandonment in place, and legal disposal of existing electrical systems, equipment, raceways, and conductors as required to accommodate the Work. B. Refer to other Division 26 sections for conductors and cables, raceways and boxes, grounding and bonding, identification, and new equipment installation. Coordinate with the Owner's SCADA/telemetry supplier (by others) for process control, SCADA, telemetry, and instrumentation before removing existing control panels or field devices. C. Related work: Section 26 05 00 - Common Work Results for Electrical ; Section 26 05 19 - LowVoltage Electrical Power Conductors and Cables; Section 26 05 33 - Raceways, Conduit, and Boxes for Electrical Systems. COMMON WORK RESULTS FOR ELECTRICAL - A. Electrical service is 120/240 V, single-phase, 3-wire, from the serving electric utility (utility meter and service conductors as indicated on the Drawings). Coordinate all Division 26 work with the Contract Drawings. B. Selective demolition of existing electrical systems and equipment is specified in Section 26 05 05 . C. Process instrumentation and SCADA/RTU systems are by others except as indicated . The Electrical Contractor shall furnish and install power feeders, raceway, grounding, and related Division 26 work for the relocated RTU panel, level sensor, radio/YAGI antenna, and manufacturer control panels as indicated on the Drawings. Coordinate instrument and control power with the Owner and instrumentation supplier. D. Extent of electrical work includes the utility service interface, equipment rack, service-entrance disconnect switch, main distribution panelboard (MDP), portable-generator connection consisting of mechanically interlocked utility and generator breakers and a 100 A generator inlet (NEC Article 702 optional standby system; no transfer switch), power to the manufacturerfurnished mixer and powered-vent control panels, relocation of the existing RTU/SCADA panel, grounding electrode system and tank bonding, the tank-leg conduit riser, heat-tracing circuit for the tank level-sensor piping/well, exterior area lighting, and related Division 26 work shown on the Drawings. E. Mixer (PAX PWM400 or equal) and powered -vent (PPV-400 or equal) equipment and their manufacturer control panels are furnished by the respective equipment manufacturers (by others). The Electrical Contractor shall receive, set, install, and connect the control panels and equipment as indicated on the Drawings. F. VFDs for process equipment (including the powered vent) are manufacturer-packaged within the equipment manufacturer's control panel . The Electrical Contractor shall furnish and install the power supply, disconnecting means, raceway, and all field conductors, including the VFD output conductors from the powered-vent control panel to the powered-vent motor (3-#12 XHHW-2 Cu plus 1-#12 Cu equipment grounding conductor in a dedicated conduit, as shown on the Drawings), and shall make all field terminations. G. The Electrical Contractor shall furnish and install the equipment rack, including posts, pedestal
