The work includes, but is not limited to, the following: Remove exterior finishes at locations shown on the drawings as required to upgrade existing details to those shown on the drawings. Supply and install for the following scope of work as outlined in the drawings: Repointing cracked or de-bonded mortar joints at brick walls. Replacing deteriorated/spalled bricks at brick walls. Replacing corroded fasteners at metal cladding. Removing and replacing all exterior sealant joints. Performing injection waterproofing at actively leaking cracks in basement foundation walls. Performing localized deteriorated concrete repairs. Decommissioning of existing access hatch and lift within loading dock / basement mechanical room. Confirm the existence of the original air and vapor barriers during construction. Notify consultant of inadequacies or deterioration so that issues may be addressed. Areas of the air and vapor barriers that are compromised to accommodate construction must be reinstated to meet the original design intent or altered as instructed by consultant. All mechanical, electrical, and other items that are affected by restoration of framing must be replaced in accordance with current applicable codes and using good practice. Modify as required. Supply and install new exterior finishes as required to upgrade existing details to those shown on the drawings. Clean all areas affected by the work to satisfaction of the owner. Include in the bid price, robust weather protection requirements (necessary screens, covers, hoardings, shrink wrap, weather protection system, etc.) to prevent the entry of rain, snow, ice, wind-driven moisture, freezing temperatures or other potential damage to the active work areas. Submit the proposed temporary weather protection measures, for consultant review prior to commencement of work. See details in Section 01 56 00 Temporary Barriers and Enclosures. All disruptive work (including but not limited to, noise, dust, equipment shutdown, hazmat abatement, etc.) must be scheduled afterhours.
