Escambia County Board of County Commissioners (County), in conjunction with Escambia County Area Transit (ECAT), is soliciting bids from qualified, licensed, Florida General Contractors (GC) or Underground Utility and Excavation Contractors (CUC/UC) to complete infrastructure improvements required for the new ECAT Facility to be located along Clarinda Lane, between Pace Boulevard and Palafox Street, in Pensacola, Florida. To ensure completion of the new ECAT Facility within the required project timeline, the project must be completed with an accelerated construction schedule; and in two (2) phases. _ Phase I - Infrastructure (Utility and Stormwater) _Phase II - Building Construction Work to be completed under Phase I includes, but not limited to, furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, permits, transportation, and incidentals necessary to complete the project in accordance with the Contract Documents. Construction during this phase consists of, but is not limited to: Installation of Silt Fence and Hay Bales, including appropriate replacement throughout this phase. Selective clearing and grubbing. Installation of sanitary sewer, potable water, reclaimed water ( if applicable) , natural gas, electrical, communications, and other underground utilities. _ Construction of stormwater management facilities, including retention ponds, drainage structures, storm sewer piping, inlets, and associated conveyance systems. Construction of temporary paved roadways and parking lots. Contractor shall provide stabilized subgrade and base materials or all areas that will receive permanent concrete or permanent asphalt. All base materials must be preapproved by the County prior to installation. Contractor shall install temporary stabilization for all disturbed areas. All final grading, stabilization, and landscaping shall be completed at a later date. The Escambia County Board of County Commissioners is seeking a licensed Underground or Utility Contractor (UC) to install all critical infrastructure in preparation of the New ECAT Facility that will support an Administration Building, Bus Wash, Fuel Depot, and Maintenance Building along Clarinda Lane, between Pace Boulevard and Palafox Street in Pensacola, Florida.
