Demolition, site work, remodeling and renovation of a detention facility in Bishop, California. Completed plans call for the demolition of a detention facility; for the remodel of a detention facility; and for the renovation of a detention facility.
Demolition, installation, and remodeling of inmate bathrooms to ensure safe, working conditions, including provision of all materials, labor, equipment, tools, permits, and transportation. Calfire technical services personnel plan to make emergency repairs to the Owens valley cc inmate bathrooms; repairs precipitated from positive mold testing of the inmate bathrooms; calfire business services office personnel approved emergency contracting for abatement and demolition of mold /lead /asbestos materials in the two inmate bathrooms; repairs to include floor plan modifications allowing for possible floor plan needs in the event Owens valley cc is re-purposed for paid crew personnel. A Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) goal is not required , but DVBE participation is encouraged, and a DVBE incentive may apply to this IFB.
