Renovation of a power facility in Burlington, Vermont. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a power facility.
The scope of this project is limited to engineering design, development of relay settings, drawings and documentation of the updated communication and protection scheme. It does NOT include procurement or installation of any hardware. Specific tasks included in the scope of this project are as follows: 1. Conduct site visit(s) as needed to understand the existing design and physical layout of relevant equipment at Queen City Substation. 2. Select digital relay devices to achieve equivalent or improved protection and control. 3. Provide documentation specifying vendor model numbers, and all configurations/settings for the new digital relays. 4. Provide complete electrical and mechanical schematic drawings for the installation of new relays stamped by a professional engineer licensed in the State of Vermont. 5. BED staff will install, test and commission all new relays and communication devices. 6. Review design and settings with BED’s Engineering and Technician staff. 7. Provide remote support as needed during testing and commissioning.
