Removal of existing chain link fence and installation of new fencing, vertical pivot power-operated gate systems, and card reader access systems with associated electrical, low voltage, and communication requirements. Services Requested: Albany County School District No. 1 (ACSD1) is seeking to engage a Contractor to provide services to remove approximately 120 lineal feet of 6-foot-high chain link fence, install approximately 320 lineal feet of new 6-foot-high chain link fence, install two power operated vertical pivot gates with remote sensing (100 remotes), and four (4) card reader stations for enter and exit at both gates Contractor is responsible for taking accurate measurements and verifying the locations of underground utilities, above ground utilities and structures, and site appurtenances/features for the work to be completed . All quantities mentioned herein are approximate for reference only. Bid Items o Removal of existing chain link fence at the south entrance to the bus lot - 260 LF. o Install new chain link fence at a new location at the south entrance to the bus lot - 320 LF. Chain link fence to be 6-foot high with a single extension arm with 3 lines of barbed wire. Extension arm angle to match existing. Posts to be set in concrete. Fabric, posts, rails, extensions, and hardware to meet industry standards. Components of the existing fence that are removed can be reused if in acceptable condition. o Install One ( 1) complete vertical pivot 20-foot power operated gate system at the north entrance to the bus lot in the existing chain link fence . Provide all associated electrical power needs. o Install one (1) entrance and one ( 1) exit card reader post at the new north gate. Provide all associated power, low voltage, and commination needs for each post. nstall One (1) complete vertical pivot 24-foot power operated gate system at the south entrance to the bus lot in the new chain link fence. Provide all associated electrical power needs. Install one (1) entrance and one (1) exit card reader post at the new north gate. Provide all associated power, low voltage, and commination needs for each post. Provide card readers compatible with ACSD1 entrance cards. Provide one hundred (100) remotes (total) for busses that operate each new powered gate.
