Design and installation of a net metering roof-top solar PV project on the Duke Hockey Arena. The Contractor shall perform all professional services as necessary to provide the Client with a complete design package for a rooftop solar project, and after approval from the Client, will take all steps required to secure and execute the Connection Impact Assessment (CIA) with Hydro One. The project will be sized to maximize financial benefits by considering the building's monthly energy demand. The intent of this project is to design a 245-kW solar system for implementation at the Arena in Couchiching First Nation. It is the intent that a maximum of 50 kW must be installed in Year 1 with 65 kW being installed in Year 2, 65 kW installed in Year 3 and the final 65 kW installed in Year 4. The Contractor must ensure that the testing and verification of the system be completed before the winter and/or as soon as the panels and equipment are installed.
