The course must prioritize flow and clarity. The course must respect the environment. September 2026 A mix of hole lengths and shot shapes needs to be included where possible. A level of accessibility needs to be taken into consideration. Provide tee signs that includes the hole number, par, distance, and hole map Identify out of bounds, hazard areas and other requirements. Provide marked locations for each tee pad and proposed tee pad material specifications Forest Modules Consideration The disc golf course design shall incorporate forest modules as natural obstacles and help define the structure of fairways and individual holes (Appendix H) Forest modules are contained natural areas where existing turf is removed, and the area is naturalized through the planting of a complete, self-contained ecosystem of trees, shrubs and herbaceous plants. Modules will typically have a defined edge using logs, stone or other natural materials to clearly delineate the forested area from the surrounding grass and fairway. Modules should be strategically located within the course design to provide obstacles, separation and visual interest while supporting long-term canopy and habitat development. The City's Environment and Sustainability Department will be responsible for the design, preparation and planting of the forest modules in the locations identified through the approved disc golf course design prepared by the successful vendor. Modules will be created once tees and baskets have been placed.
