Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, transportation, traffic control , restoration , permits, and incidental materials necessary to convert the existing overhead electrical distribution system to underground facilities along Shutters Landing in North Bend . The work includes installation of approximately 1,600 lineal feet of four (4) separate 2-inch conduit runs, consisting of three (3) electrical conduits and one ( 1 ) communication/fiber conduit. Electrical conduit shall be installed at a minimum depth of 48 inches and communication/fiber conduit at a minimum depth of 24 inches. The work also includes boring and/or trenching, installation of one ( 1 ) PE-42 ground sleeve, one ( 1 ) threephase switch stand , one ( 1 ) fiber splice box/vault, required 2-inch elbows and sweeps, pull string, and locate wire where required . Shoulder trenching is preferred where feasible. The Contractor shall coordinate construction activities to protect existing utilities and energized underground facilities and shall provide all required excavation, boring, utility locating and exposure, traffic control, restoration , and other work necessary for a complete installation . Certain materials will be furnished by Central Lincoln People's Utility District, as identified in the proposal documents. Proposal security shall be required when the estimated contract amount is $ 100,000 or more, in accordance with the proposal documents. When required, proposal security shall be in the amount of ten percent ( 10% ) of the total proposal amount and shall be in the form permitted by Oregon law and the District. The successful proposer shall furnish performance and payment bonds, when required by the proposal documents and applicable Oregon law, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, executed by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Oregon. The District reserves the right to reject any proposal not in compliance with all prescribed public contracting procedures and requirements and may reject any or all proposals upon a finding by the District that doing so is in the public interest. Proposal documents and specifications will not be distributed to plan centers.
