This Request for Tender (RFT) is being issued by the County of Simcoe on behalf of the Simcoe County Facilities Maintenance & Development Department (FMD). FMD is seeking tenders for the demolition and removal of all existing structures located at 319 Line 6 North, Oro-Medonte, including the removal of foundation walls and footings, designated substances and hazardous materials, and the backfilling, compaction, and rough grading of all disturbed areas. The site contains two existing buildings, three sheds, a horse paddock with a run-in shelter, a septic system, and a well. Building A is a two-storey residential dwelling of approximately 3,200 sq. ft., with an attached 900 sq. ft. two-car garage and an apartment above. Building B is an approximately 2,400 sq. ft. wood-framed workshop. The three sheds and paddock shelter are wood-framed structures. The scope of work includes the complete demolition and removal of all structures, decommissioning and removal of the septic system, decommissioning and capping of the well, and the backfilling, compaction, and grading of all areas disturbed by the demolition activities. The Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining all required permits, coordinating utility locates, and arranging for all necessary utility disconnections.
