The Choctaw County Economic Development District requests statements of qualifications from qualified firms or individuals to provide engineering services for work related to the development of an Industrial Site Suitability Study utilizing federal and local funds. The Choctaw County Economic Development District proposes to conduct due diligence in preparation for economic growth through an Industrial Site Suitability Study of an approximately 450-acre site located within Choctaw County. The selected engineer will provide all proposed services through project closeout in accordance with federal, state and local laws, regulations and policies. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following : 1) Phase I Environmental Site Assessment; 2 ) Wetlands Delineation ; 3 ) Federally Threatened and Endangered Species Review; 4) Geotechnical Investigation; 5) Cultural Resources Survey; 6) Boundary Retracement Survey; 7) Topographic Survey; and 8) Conceptual Site Plan . Each of these activities is critical to determining which portions of the property can be developed , which portions must remain undisturbed , and which portions may require mitigation to facilitate the best use of the property while protecting the environment.
