2025 Water Main and PRV Improvements Project Description: 2025 Water Main and PRV Improvements The project consists of five different project sites in unincorporated Snohomish County, designated as Schedules A-E. The work for all five sites is to be done as part of the project and they are to be bid together as one project. Schedule A includes the installation of approximately 635 lineal feet of 4 -inch diameter ductile iron (DI) water main in 78th Street SE from 79th Ave SE to the east, new water services, one blow-off assembly, one air-vac assembly, and one connection to the existing system. Schedule B includes the installation of approximately 325 lineal feet of 4 -inch diameter DI water main in 79th Ave SE from 74th St SE to the dead end to the north, new water service lines, air-vac and blowoff assemblies, as well as one connection to the existing system. Schedule C includes the installation of approximately 430 lineal feet of 4-inch diameter ductile iron (DI) water main in a private drive to the south of 212th Street SE around the 9300 block, new water service lines, a blowoff assembly, and one connection to the existing system . Work covered by Schedules A - C also includes pavement sawcutting, trench patching, grind & overlay and gravel road and shoulder restoration. Schedule D includes the upgrade of an existing pressure reducing valve (PRV) station and its associated appurtenances at the intersection of 88th Ave SE and 192nd Street SE and involves replacement of vault top section and installation of a sump ejector assembly along with other improvements. Schedule E includes the replacement of an existing PRV vault, roughly 60 lineal feet of new 8 -inch diameter ductile iron water main, along with 12" spool, associated water appurtenances, (4) new water main connections, along with cutting in (2) new in-line valves, along with site improvements that include, but are not limited to a new block wall and storm drain catch basins and pipes, and grading and paving on Elliot Road near 102nd Ave SE. Each Bid Proposal shall be accompanied by cash or a certified check, cashier's check or Bid Bond (with authorized surety company as surety) made payable to Cross Valley Water District, Snohomish County, Washington in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid. The check or Bid Bond shall be given as guarantee that the Bidder shall execute the Contract, if it be awarded to such Bidder, in conformity with the Contract Documents and that the Bidder shall provide Surety Bond or Bonds as specified therein within ten (10) calendar days after notification of the award of the Contract to the Bidder. The District will hold the bid opening at the time posted and will receive bids at the front door of the administrative office the day of the bid opening. Bids may be dropped off before the bid opening date. Hours of operation are 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Cross Valley Water District, Snohomish County, Washington, reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive irregularities or informalities in the Bid or in the Bidding, and to give particular attention to the qualifications of the Bidder. No Bidder may withdraw a bid after the hour set for the opening thereof, or before award of Contract, unless said award is delayed for a period exceeding ninety (90) days from the date of bid opening.
