Marine construction activities associated with the installation and testing of piles to support development of the temporary work trestle design. The Hood River-White Salmon Bridge Authority (Authority) invites sealed bids from the pre- qualified marine construction contractors to furnish all labor, material, equipment, marine plant, transportation , temporary works , environmental controls, The anticipated Work includes installation of sixteen (16) 36-inch-diameter steel pipe piles with a nominal 3/4-inch wall thickness and an estimated total installed length of approximately 1,900 linear feet. Individual installed lengths are anticipated to range from approximately 67 feet to 191 feet. Final requirements are established by the Contract Documents. Contractor shall mobilize, perform the Work within the allowed in-water work window, and demobilize in accordance with the Contract schedule. Install eight (8) test piles using vibratory and impact hammers. The Work is anticipated to include: Pile locations provided in the Contract Documents. Wave Equation Analysis Program (WEAP), Pile Driving Analyzer (PDA), and CAPWAP analyses included in pricing. Bubble curtain system during impact driving, subject to final permit and Contract requirements. Coordination with acoustic and turbidity monitoring activities.
