Description

Site work and renovation of a bridge / tunnel in Westchester, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a bridge / tunnel.

Bridge deck overlay repairs to Gardner Creek bridge and replacement, and site restoration. The Village of Westchester is soliciting this Request for Proposal (RFP) for contractor services to complete bridge deck overlay repairs to the Gardner Road Bridge over Addison Creek. It is anticipated that approximately 22.0 square yards of partial depth deck slab overlay repairs will need to be completed along Gardner Road over Addison Creek. The quantity of deck repairs is estimated based on visual inspection and final quantity and location verification of repairs will be determined in the field. The estimated existing overlay thickness is 2.5 to 3 inches. The patching work includes saw cutting, removal and disposal of existing material , and concrete placement of the partial deck patch.
