The City of Cadiz is soliciting bids for materials and labor to renovate the Ferrell's Lift Station. The Project includes installation of a second KSB Model 80-230 submersible pump (or equal), stainless steel guide rails, floats, electrical, etc., and other items necessary to complete a fully functional dual pump lift station. Two (2) KSB pump removal packages to include pump base, guide rail adapter and aluminum upper guide rail bracket, the 2 inch schedule 40 stainless steel guide rail pipes (2) required per pump are to be included, stainless steel lifting chain to be provided per pump, the pump base with a 4 inch flanged discharge pipe connection One (1) Mechanical float switch kit to include four (4) internally weighted mechanical float switches each with 25 ft cable and one ( 1) four float manifold with 25 ft cable for primary control of the lift station, one (1) stainless steel hook type float bracket. One (1) 72 inch OD precast concrete flat bottom top slab with 30 in x 48 inch aluminum access hatch sized for property installation and removal of the pumps. Two (2) 4 inch flanged check valve Two 4 inch flanged plug valves with operator nut One (1) lot of 4 inch ductile iron fittings One (1) Lot of labor and material to: a. Install new pump bases and guide rail system b. Install new wet well piping with in line check valves C. Install new wet ductile iron elbow, tee, and reducer and connect to existing 6 inch force main d. Install new float control system e. Install one new pump and one customer supplied pump f. Install a new wet well concrete top slab with precast aluminum access hatch g. Start-up and commission the new equipment No bidder may withdraw a bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening of bids.
